In its basic version, Grammarly offers writing and spelling checks. In the premium version of the product, Grammarly includes those basic items, as well as advanced checks for punctuation, grammar, context, and sentence structure, vocabulary enhancement suggestions, genre-specific writing style checks, and a plagiarism detector. Plans start at $30 month, $60 quarterly, and $140 annually. According to crunchbase, Grammarly has raised $110m in funding as of May 2017.

It is a web learning platform that allows for differentiated grammar instruction and game based learning. It also allows teachers to monitor student progress. No Red Ink is a direct competitor to Microgram, however, it is web-based not mobile based. To date, No Red Ink has raised approximately $8.5m in private funding.
